News: The FMHS Booster Club has held many events throughout the summer to reach our goal to raise $25,000 to support sports next year. Our fundraisers and community support have raised $9,215 toward our target this year so far.

We heard great reviews from those who attended our recent Free Concert at the Field this past Saturday.

Our Poker Tournament will be our last fundraising effort for the Frazier Mountain Sports Program this year. We need you to make our efforts and hard work pay off for the kids. Help us reach our goal!

We hope you attend. And be sure to spread the word to others to make this last major fundraising event of the year a great success.

Events:

• Saturday, Oct. 8: Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament at Cuddy Hall. We are looking for sponsors for this event. Platinum donors $1,000/4 seats; Gold $750/3 seats; Silver $500/2 seats, Bronze $250/1 seat. All include advertisements.

Table sponsors run $50-$100 for table advertisement. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, or if you would like more information, please call Lisa Johnson at 661-248-6406.

• Monday, Oct. 10: Booster Club Meeting at Cavey’s Cave at 6:30 p.m. See you there!
