The FP2 to premier in Austin—Ohyezz, it’s back

If you follow the Trost Brothers saga, you will know by now that the duo grew up in Lebec and graduated from Frazier Mountain High School as part of a film industry family. Both went on to become passionate filmmakers. In 2011 Brandon and Jason’s feature version of The FP rolled out. They co-directed from a story by Jason. Costume designer and sister Sarah Trost added grit and badass sass to the design-heavy production. With a wild party of Mountain Community friends, including Lee Valmassy, the duo turned their little pocket project into a profane and hilarious parody that was startling in its craft and urgency.

Though our Mountain Communities have been notable for our lack of gangs here, the Trosts took the white-kid wannabe gangsta ethos into the realm of the hilarious. The FP was nasty. It was fun. And, for all the…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
