A painfully shy proofreader from England accompanies his friend to a fishing lodge in the hills of rural Georgia. The Foreigner leaves audiences weak from unceasing laughter, but there’s more here than just a raucous good time. The play confronts issues of prejudice and fear, disarming them with laughter.
