No water? No live fish? How is that possible?

Local hunter and metal sculptor Stan McCuen of Lockwood Valley decided in February he could drive past the drought-parched dust bowl of Frazier Mountain Park pond no longer without trying to do something.

On April 27, 2018, McCuen notified The Mountain Enterprise that he and six helpers would arrive at the park the next morning before 5 a.m. to install 100 metal sculptures of the wildlife that had been lost when…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)

The joyful spirit of the Frazier Mountain Park Pond will be revived at Fiesta Days on Sunday, August 5, 8-10 a.m. with a unique fishing derby for the town.
