2013 ZombieFest and Trunk or Treat

ZombieFest strikes again this Halloween season in the Frazier Mountain Communities. On Sunday, Oct. 27, 4-5 p.m. the ghouls will take over downtown Frazier Park—though bunny rabbits, superheroes and princesses are also welcome to join the parade.

In a free event coordinated by Scott Parsons’ Computers and Games, children of all ages are invited to join a parade.

All costumes are welcome. The non-zombies will lead the way. Those who want to morph into zombies can wear their own rags, but help with applying scars and stitches will be available at four free make-up stations at 2:30 p.m. at Buddha Bears, Wicked Beautiful, Computers and Games and in front of Sue’s Tavern.

This is a “first come, first served while supplies last” transformation opportunity.

Mt. Pinos Way will be blocked off (from Monterey Trail to Ace Hardware).

Local businesses and the community can set up treat stations along the route to hand out goodies and toys.

Parade staff in bright shirts will “keep kids in the main parade and not drifting down side streets,” Parsons said. Call 242-1214 for more details.
