What would you do if four frisky bears came galloping up on your deck and began trying to remove your front door from its hinges?

What can you do to keep your family and the wild bears in our forest safe? What tips will help us live next door to wild-bear habitat without harming them, or ourselves?

A team of scientists and wardens from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be here to explain all, and to answer your questions on Friday, June 13 at the PMC Pool Pavilion, 7 p.m. The public is invited.

This is part of the June 6, 2014 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
