‘Trashy mulch’ fires burn for week near Neenach

Smoke blanketed the Western Antelope Valley last week when spontaneous combustion fires that started in what residents call “trashy mulch” blazed for days. Piles of slash containing household trash have been dumped over hundreds of rural acres in the Neenach…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
