(Incident Closed) Two northbound lanes of I-5 still closed, north of Fort Tejon

LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:49 p.m.)—Due to an additional traffic collision near Lebec Road exit, northbound traffic is now backed up to nearly Frazier Mountain Park Road.

LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 9:53 a.m.)—A big rig hauling hazardous materials caught fire at 7 p.m. Tuesday on northbound Interstate 5, two or three miles south of the Grapevine exit. Traffic has been backed up to the Lebec overpass. According to CHP Officer Brian Moore, there is no estimate at this time for completion of the hazmat cleanup and opening of the last two lanes. It is not yet known which hazardous materials were onboard the trailer.
