Friday, July 24

• The 21st Century Mystery School presents beginning Tai Chi at Frazier Mountain Community Park. Classes will be held each Friday from 9:30–10:30 a.m. now through August 28. Cost is $5. Call instructor Jessie Finneman at 661.448.5036.

• ‘Flash of Color’ is Artworks Community Gallery’s new show. (16233 Pine Valley Lane, #203, Pine Mountain Village/ 661.858.3130). The exhibit runs through August 10. The Gallery is open Friday to Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. or by appointment.

• The 2015 Fiesta Days Queen and Princesses will be crowned at 2 p.m. Cake and punch will be served following the ceremony. The activities will be held at the VFW hall (612 Canada Trail, Frazier Park).

• The Mountain Theater Alliance presents an encore performance of Watch on the Rhine, 8 p.m. at the Pine Mountain Village gazebo. Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $9 for children under 12.

Saturday, July 25

• Join the El Camino Viejo Wilderness Hike at Wind Wolves Preserve, 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Follow a portion of the historic wagon route that once connected El Pueblo de Los Angeles and San Francisco. Bring water and a lunch on this adventure intended for hikers ages seven and up. Go north on I-5 for 19.4 miles, exit west on SR 166 for 14.6 miles to 16019 Maricopa Highway, about a 40-minute drive.

• A Farmers Market will be open 10 a.m. to noon, Green Dragon Farms (3433 Los Padres Dr., Frazier Park). The market will be open every Saturday through the growing season. A variety of fresh vegetables, herbs and eggs will be available. Fresh food vouchers are available at the Family Resource Center and can be redeemed on market days.

* ‘Pop Gun Rerun,’ featuring top hits of the ‘80s, will kick off the PMC Concert on the Greens season, 4:30–7 p.m.

• Join the Mountain Theater Alliance at the Champagne Gala, 7 p.m., to open the summer production season. Tickets are $5.

• The Mountain Theater Alliance presents Greater Tuna, a satiric comedy set in the small fictional town of Tuna, Texas. The play begins at 8 p.m., at the Pine Mountain Village gazebo. This production is not suitable for children due to mature content. Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $9 for children under 12.

Sunday, July 26

• Enjoy an EcoKidz outdoor activity at Wind Wolves Preserve, 10 a.m. to noon. There will be fun for all ages (go north on I-5 for 19.4 miles, exit west on SR 166 for 14.6 miles to 16019 Maricopa Highway, about a 40-minute drive).

• The Center of the World Festival hosts an Exercise for Performing Arts workshop in Pine Mountain Village (16311 Askin Dr., Basecamp), 3–7 p.m. Join Michael Dulle, MPA, and learn exercises to improve the body, mind and spirit connection within yourself and your audience. There is no charge for the workshop.

Tuesday, July 28

• Gorman School PTSO will host a meeting and lunch, 12:30 p.m., at the Ranch House Restaurant (49713 Gorman Post Rd., Gorman) to discuss the upcoming school year. A trip to the school (49847 Gorman School Road, Gorman) for a math curriculum preview will follow from 2–3 p.m.

• The fun continues on Sports Night at Lampkin Park, 5–7 p.m., Pine Mountain Village. Bring your friends. Enjoy a variety of team sports.

• The Famous Museum Night Walk with the Route Communities Museum Historian Bonnie Kane begins at 6:30 p.m. Stroll through time and history as you walk through downtown Frazier Park and learn about its adventurous past. A handout of historic photographs is available for a donation. Meet at the museum (3515 Park Dr., Frazier Park).
