• A Backcountry Adventure is planned at Wind Wolves Preserve today, 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Bring water, lunch and sturdy shoes on this “Authorized Access Only” tour of the preserve. • The Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve is accepting volunteer applications for the upcoming wildflower season (March–May). Two Saturday training sessions are required, Feb. 20 and 27.
