• A free Essential Oils 101 Valentine’s “make and take” event will be offered at noon by Laurie O’Brien at the Frazier Park Library.

• World Ag Expo begins today in Tulare at the International Agri-Center (4500 S. Laspina St., Tulare), 9 a.m.–5 p.m. It continues Wednesday, Feb. 15 (9 a.m.–5 p.m.) and Thursday, Feb. 16 (9 a.m.–4 p.m.). Advance tickets are $10 at www.worldagexpo.com. Admission at the gate is $15; kids six and under are free.

• Hungry Valley SVRA is holding a public workshop to gather public input for a General Plan Update Wednesday, February 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at FMHS. If you are unable to attend the workshop an online survey will be available at www.PlanHungryValley.com February 15–28.

• The Tejon Ranch Trail Half Marathon and 10K event April 22 hosted by Tejon Ranch offers the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the ranch in the spring. The for-profit run is by Spectrum Sports Management. Early registration runs through February 12: Half Marathon, $70; 10K $35; Kids Run $10. February 13 cost goes to $80, $40 and $10.
