• Gorman School will hold a Mardi Gras Dance from 6 to 8 p.m. for the 5th–8th grade students. Tickets are $5 in advance; $7 at the door. This is a semi-formal affair.

• Rescheduled from Friday, Feb. 17 • ‘Old Hollywood’ is the theme of the Winter Formal Dance at FMHS, 8–11 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person or $12 per couple. There will be an alumni basketball game at 6 p.m. before the dance, so come out for the fun and to cheer on these former Falcons.

• Frontier Army Days at Fort Tejon State Historic Park are Saturday March 4 and Sunday, March 5, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Enjoy a unique look back at life during the 1850s at this military outpost. Cost is adults $5; children $3. Costumed reenactors will guide you into the past.

• The Ridge Route Communities Museum Book Club meets Monday, March 6 at 4 p.m. to watch the film version of last month’s reading,“One for the Money” by Janet Evanovich.
