• The Mountain Youth Photo Contest Awards Ceremony and display is 5 p.m. at the Frazier Park Library. Come see what over 70 young artists found worth focusing on. Refreshments will be served. An opportunity to purchase prints (all funds go to the students) will occur May 15 at 5 p.m. at the pizza party at Artworks Gallery in Pine Mountain Village (16233 Pine Valley Lane, PMV).

• A Special Shareholder meeting for LOW Mutual Water Company is at 7 p.m. LOWMWC seeks approval of the company’s transfer of the distribution system to the Frazier Park Public Utility District for the regional water system when and if annexation with FPPUD occurs. A majority vote of LOW’s shareholders is needed to move forward with planning and securing grants.

• The Friends of the Library Used Book Sale continues today at the Frazier Park Library, 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come, browse and buy books. Your purchases help support the library’s community programs. The sale runs through Saturday, April 29.

* The $7 million PMC Clubhouse Remodel is the focus of a forum Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m. in the Condor Room by the PMC Planning Committee. Come ask your questions, express your concerns, and see if additional options and a financing plan will be presented.

• A Survivor Luncheon will be hosted by Relay For Life of the Mountain Communities Saturday, April 29, noon–2 p.m. at the VFW Hall (612 Canada Tr., FP). All cancer survivors, those still in treatment and caregivers are welcome to attend.
