• The Frazier Park School Harvest Festival is from 2:30 to 5 p.m. The fun includes a bounce house, photo booth, face painting, games and more. Pumpkins will be available for $3 each.

• A Haunted House hosted by FMHS FFA is open 5–10 p.m. today and tomorrow in the Frazier Park School cafeteria. Ticket sales help fund FFA activities.

* The Creepy Carnival is 6–9 p.m. in the Condor Room at the PMC clubhouse. A costume contest for all ages is part of the fun.

• The Ridge Route Car Tour led by Bonnie Kane is 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Cost is $10. Call the museum to reserve a spot, 661.245.7747.

• The Library is Haunted! The ghoulish fun starts with Ghost Stories at 3 p.m. in the Frazier Park Library followed by a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot. A Haunted House sponsored by the Friends of the Library is at the Community Center. These scary events will go until 7 p.m.

• Take a “Fright Hike” at a Blackout Night Hike, 6–8 p.m. at Wind Wolves Preserve. A Halloween-themed hike with blacklights, glow sticks and scary (but family-friendly) stories. For reservations call 661.858.1115 or email at windwolvespreserve@twc-ca.org.

• A special Halloween Bingo night and costume contest opens at 6 p.m. at VFW Post 9791 (612 Canada Tr., FP). There will be special goodie bags for the first 36 players and a 50/50 drawing. You must be 18 years old or over to attend.

• ‘Luna Melt’ is the Speak Easy Theater Halloween production, 7 p.m. at Basecamp in PMV. Tickets are $5. Encore show on Saturday, Nov. 4, 7 p.m.

* A Halloween Party for adults is 7–11 p.m. at the Pine Mountain Clubhouse. Dinner, music and dancing are part of the fun. And don’t forget the grown-up costume contest!

• A Dr. Suess-themed Halloween Parade is 8–9 a.m. at Peak to Peak Mountain Charter School.

• ‘Smiles Within’ offers Halloween fun from noon to 6 p.m. at Frazier Mountain Park. Balloons, hot dogs, a photo booth, a bounce house and lots of candy are all part of the fun. This free event is open to all.

• The Frazier Park Elementary School Costume Parade is 12:30 p.m. Each class will take a turn showing off their Halloween outfits.

• The Pine Mountain Village Trunk or Treat starts at 4 p.m. Decorate your car and bring plenty of candy!

• A Truck/Trunk or Treat is 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Frazier Park School parking lot. To sign up, call Frazier Mountain Community Church at 661.245.6391. Decorate your rig and bring plenty of treats. Set up begins at 4:30 p.m.

• Ready to start your holiday shopping? The Friends of the Library used book sale begins today, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Frazier Park Library. This first day is for members only. Memberships are $10 for individuals or $15 for a family. The sale runs through Saturday, Nov. 4.

• All are welcome to the Friends of the Library used book sale, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the library.

• AARP hosts a Thanksgiving luncheon at noon in the Senior Room of the Community Center. The Falcon’s Nest will cater the event. Bring a side dish or pay $5. Musician George Gomez will lead a sing-along.
