• Kids 7-12, the Junior Rangers Club wants you! This exciting, free program is 10–11 a.m. at the Frazier Park library (and each Friday through the summer). Hungry Valley Rangers will focus on responsible recreation, outdoor safety, wildlife and environmental awareness.

• ‘The Oak Tree’ with charcoals is today’s Arts for Children program at the library: 1:30–2:30 p.m. for 5-8 year olds and 2:30–3:30 p.m. for 9-12 year olds, with teacher Gigi Nommensen. Enjoy a new theme in art, music or dance each Tuesday and Friday through July (3732 Park Dr., Frazier Park).

• L.A. County Regional Planning resumes its Centennial specific plan hearing Wednesday, July 11 at 9 a.m. in downtown L.A. at the Hall of Records (320 Temple St., Los Angeles 90012). Public testimony is welcome. Written testimony can be submitted to jsackett@planning.lacounty.gov.

• Fiesta Days is around the corner! Deadline for Fiesta Days Queen entries and vendor applications is Saturday, July 14. Get forms and information at www.frazierfiestadays.org. (Fiesta Days Queen application is under “Events” and must be dropped off at Mountain Top Video.) The crowning takes place Friday, July 20 at the VFW Hall, and the 51st Annual Fiesta Days celebration is August 3–5, 2018.
