• Veterans Day is observed today by ETUSD, Peak to Peak Mountain Charter and Gorman Elementary schools.

• A Community Veterans Day celebration is 11 a.m. at the Prosser Memorial in Frazier Mountain Park. VFW Post 9791 hosts the event.

• Senior Stretching is 11–11:45 a.m. at Frazier Mountain Park Community Center every Monday and Thursday. Some stretches are done sitting in a chair, some standing, and you do only what you are able to do comfortably. The teacher is in her 90s, so clearly, stretching does a body good!

• Senior Sack provides healthy food staples from 10 a.m.–noon at Frazier Mountain Park Community Center. Eligible recipients (with an annual income below $15,000) register once for $2, then twice a month may pick up a sack of fresh fruits and veggies, bread, boxed staples and canned food. • The ‘Let’s Live Local’ Winter Clothing Exchange is Sunday, Nov. 18, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. in the Condor Room of the Pine Mountain clubhouse. Donate what you don’t need and pick up what you can use. • Thanksgiving holiday break is Monday through Friday, Nov. 19–23 for all El Tejon Unified, Gorman Elementary and Peak to Peak Mountain Charter School students. Classes will resume on Monday, Nov. 26.

• Those concerned by the Wildlife Corridor proposal: Ventura County has postponed their planning commission meeting until Thursday, Dec. 6, 8:30 a.m. at the Ventura Government Center (800 S.
