• The Frazier Park Library will be closed today, tomorrow and Saturday so staff and patrons can enjoy the holiday with family and friends. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

• A Thanksgiving dinner is 2–6 p.m. at Frazier Park Moose Lodge #2364 (6941 Lockwood Valley Rd., Lake of the Woods; 661.245.1630). All are welcome to join in this friendly, festive and free gathering.

• Those concerned by the Wildlife Corridor proposal: Ventura County has postponed their planning commission meeting until Thursday, Dec. 6, 8:30 a.m. at the Ventura Government Center (800 S. • Painting with Pam and Friends is Thursday, Nov. 29, 6 p.m. at Artworks Community Gallery (16233 Pine Valley Lane, Pine Mountain Village). This is a fun way to tap into your creative side while enjoying social time with others doing the same. Today’s scene is Winter Cardinal. The class fee is $30, plus a $5 donation for wine and snacks.

• The Holiday Faire and Festival of Lights Parade is coming up quickly, Saturday, Dec. 1. Applications the Festival of Lights Parade (due by Thursday, Nov. 30) are available at frazierfiestadays.org/pages/holidayfaire/parade/. It’s free, and anyone can join the parade, so apply today!
