• Come on out to support the FMHS varsity soccer teams (700 Falcon Way, Lebec). The girls play at 3 p.m. and the boys play at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Wednesday, January 28

• The Annual El Tejon Unified School District Science Fair for students of Frazier Park School, El Tejon School and Frazier Mountain High School will be held 6–7:30 p.m. at El Tejon School. The public, family and friends are all invited to see the creative work of young scientists.

Friday, January 30

• A free seminar on government contracting and compliance with labor laws for small businesses will be hosted at 7:30 a.m. by Assemblywoman Shannon Grove at Hodel’s Country Dining (5917 Knudsen Drive, Bakersfield–in the Kern Room; contact 661.395.2995 or Assemblymember.grove@assembly.ca.gov).

• Scholarships are available from Green Dragon Farms for Frazier Mountain Community students and adult residents.
