Premier wineries and leading chefs will exhibit their talents this Saturday, June 14 in Pine Mountain Village at Wine in the Pines. The event is 12 noon to 4 p.m., featuring wines from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties, microbrewery beers and ales, gourmet food prepared by some of the Central Valley’s finest chefs—as well as local Village restaurants—and live music by the Dave Ford Quartet.

Admission includes a logo glass. Tickets are $45 in advance and may be purchased online at www.wineinthepines.com or in person at the Pine Mountain Club office. If still available, tickets may also be purchased at the door for $60. Admission includes food, wine and beer tastings.

Wineries will include Bianchi, Brucher, Cass, Christian Lazo, Clayhouse, Hug Cellars, Laraneta Winery and Olive Oil, Opolo, Pear Valley, Pomar Junction, Rio Seco, Seghesio Family Vineyards, Silkwood, Tobin James, Tolosa Winery, Treana and Vista Del Rey, plus Stella Artois, Tioga-Sequoia and Wolf Creek breweries.

Restaurants include Wiki’s Wine Dive & Grill, and Fabious’ Corner BEST BBQ, both from Bakersfield, plus Santa Clarita’s Wolf Creek Restaurant. Local restaurants include Café Silva Bella, La Leña Mexican Restaurant, Mommy’s, Basecamp and the Pine Mountain Pizza Company.

Patrons must be 21 years old to purchase wine-tasting tickets.Designated driver tickets, $25, include everything but alcohol, and will be on sale at the door.

Wine in the Pines is sponsored by the nonprofit Pine Mountain Club Commercial Property Owners Association.
