PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Tuesday, March 27 at 3:20 p.m.)—A woman driving a white pickup truck eastbound on Mil Potrero Highway said she lost control of her truck when she couldn’t see because of morning glare. The accident happened about a mile west of the ‘Y’ at 8:10 a.m., according to CHP Officer Richard Anthes. The woman told CHP that she crossed the double yellow line and sideswiped another white pickup truck. Anthes said there were no injuries. Mil Potrero Highway was reduced to one lane of traffic for about 40 minutes while Kern County crews removed debris from the roadway. The highway was shut down in both directions for about 15 minutes, he said.
