Kids can begin learning to become emergency preparedness leaders

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has opened its application period for students in grades 8 to 11 to join the Youth Preparedness Council.

According to FEMA, “Council members are selected based on their dedication to public service, their efforts in making a difference in their communities, and their potential to expand their impact as national leaders for emergency…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
