Body Found in Burning Car in Neenach Area

NEENACH, CALIF. (Sunday, Mar. 10 at 10:21 p.m.)–Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Watch Commander Lt. Daniels confirmed that sheriff’s homicide detectives are on-scene.

NEENACH, CALIF. (Sunday, Mar. 10 at 9:40 p.m.)–A burning vehicle sparked a brush fire in the Neenach/Fairmont area this evening at about 5:30 p.m. Los Angeles County Fire Department Captain Dorn told The Mountain Enterprise that a body was found inside the vehicle at 170th Street West just northwest of the California Aqueduct entrance. Dorn said Station 78 received the call at 5:27 p.m. and finished work at the scene at 7:30 p.m. He said sheriffi’s detectives are still on-scene trying to figure out what happened leading to the death of the person inside the vehicle.
