• In our report last week, May 9, we reviewed specific rate changes at the two largest water companies on the mountain, Mil Potrero Mutual Water Company (serving the Pine Mountain community) and the Frazier Park Public Utility District (with boundaries limited to the Frazier Park area currently). Both are metered systems.

Both Frazier Park Public Utility District (FPPUD) and Mil Potrero Mutual Water District serve their customers from groundwater from their own wells (and spring boxes), storing the water in their own tanks and delivering through pipes maintained in their own distribution systems. Both are largely gravity-fed systems.
