Over 100 bags of toys were given out to families in need on Wednesday, Dec. 18—just in time for Christmas. More than 200 children received toys in this event organized by Toys 4 Tots and Family Resource Center. Toys 4 Tots served children ages 0-13 and the Family Resource Center provided for those aged 14-17.

Warm coats were collected during November and December by State Farm Insurance and Pine Mountain Realty, then given out to families in need on the same day as Toys 4 Tots.
Mitch Wood and Pam McCain said they collected over 1,000 items and gave out over 300 during the day—more than 50 large bags full.
