Grapevine Open, Highway to Snowplay Areas Open

Frazier Park, CA (Sunday, Mar. 18 at 12:50 p.m.)–Interstate 5 over the Grapevine is open while a light snow is falling throughout the Mountain Community at this hour. Frazier Mountain Park Road and Cuddy Valley Road are open with access to snowplay at "Snowbunny Hill" in Cuddy Valley and 4 miles farther west at "The Y". Mt. Pinos Road from "The Y" up to the top of Mount Pinos is closed due to icy conditions. Mil Potrero Highway into Pine Mountain Village is open and in good driving condition. Tire chains should always be carried for two-wheel drive vehicles.

Restaurants in Pine Mountain, Lake of the Woods and Frazier Park are open for lunch and dinner.

More snow is in the forecast for this afternoon and this evening throughout the area.
