Hundreds turn out for CommUnity Picnic

About 200 people had gathered by 1:30 p.m. for the community picnic organized by Frazier Mountain Community Church (FMCC) on Sunday, July 27.

“Our goal is to feed anyone who can help themselves by coming here,” Pastor Phil Wallace told The Mountain Enterprise at the event.

“We do a lot with the Family Resource Center,” he said, referring to the church’s numerous channels of assistance to the center, such as contributions to help keep the food bank…

Over 250 came out to Frazier Mountain Park for the picnic put on by Frazier Mountain Community Church.

By the end of the afternoon, it was estimated that 250 people had joined in the celebration of a summer picnic shared by neighbors. The next CommUnity dinner will be later in the fall. You can’t beat a free meal cooked by happy people!
