Pine Mountain Club, CA (Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 4:04 p.m.)—That’s it. Storm over.  High cumulus clouds are sliding across the sky again, with the sun peeking through.

Pine Mountain Club, CA (Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 3:09 p.m.)—Now the thunder has started and the rain has doubled in intensity. Maybe we will get more moisture on the forest than expected!

Pine Mountain Club, CA (Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:49 p.m.)—It is raining. A neat little cloudburst has just opened up in the west side of the Mountain Communities. It appears it may be passing after just a few minutes, but the rain is warmly welcomed.

Along with the rain comes a possibility of lightning. And along with lightning is the possibility of fire in the dry forest. Please be alert. Be cautious with anything that could cause sparks. And make plans to finish up any additional hazard abatement that is needed around your property as soon as possible. Be fire safe.
