Fourth of July Happenings

AARP Picnic

You are invited to join us on Friday, July 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Frazier Mountain Park Community Center Senior Room for our AARP chapter’s annual Fourth of July picnic.

Bring a picnic basket to share and enjoy the afternoon with your friends. We will play cards and dominos in the afternoon. We hope to see you there.

Old Time Fourth of July 1856 Celebration at Fort Tejon Historic Park in Lebec

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. / Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children

Be a part of history and come out to experience an 1856 style Fourth of July celebration at a U.S. Army fort.

Watch soldiers fire a cannon salute to the nation’s independence.

Pie eating contest, sack races, tug of war and other games.
