BAKERSFIELD, CA (Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at 4:54 p.m.)—In a striking and short announcement from the Kern County Administrator’s Office at 4:45 p.m. this afternoon, Alan Krauter announced that Kern County Counsel Theresa Goldner submitted her resignation today, effective Monday, Nov. 7. Krauter said he had not seen the email in which she resigned and has no further information. He said she had sent the email note to all of the members of the board of supervisors.

Assistant County Counsel Mark Nations will assume Goldner’s duties for the time being, Krauter said.
