California Living Museum field trip offers free entry for children and caregivers

The Mountain Communities Family Resource Center’s Mommy & Me group is inviting families with children up to 5 years and infants to join us for a field trip to the California Living Museum (better known as CALM) in Bakersfield.

We will be going on Wednesday, April 23.

The group is sponsored by First 5 of Kern and funded by Proposition 10, which will pay for one parent or caregiver per child, and all children 0-5 for up to 30 families. Other adults will have a discounted group rate admission of $5.

We will meet at CALM in Bakersfield at 10 a.m. Please carpool if you are able to and bring lunch and snacks for yourself and your children.

Mommy & Me meets weekly on Wednesdays. The group provides parents with social opportunities to meet other parents in the Mountain Communities, while offering fun, child development and stimulating activities that everyone can enjoy.
