The Peak to Peak Mountain Charter School is hitting the greens to raise some green this month, and invites you to join in the frolic.

On Saturday, Sept. 28 a golf tournament, barbecue and opportunity drawing in Pine Mountain Club will be open to all.

The Peak to Peak 9-Hole Scramble Golf Tournament will begin at 2 p.m. Competitors can sign up at the PMC Pro Shop in advance or the day of the event. “There are great prizes,” Peak to Peak organizers have announced.

At 4:30 p.m. there will be a hot dog dinner and celebration at Lampkin Park. “All the Mountain Community is invited to celebrate the new Peak to Peak Mountain Charter School,” organizers said, adding that attendees can purchase tickets “for tons of opportunity drawings.” They also ask that families bring blankets and chairs.
