PMC nail vandal sets new pattern

By Patric Hedlund

One Pine Mountain resident (who just invested $960 in new tires for his truck after picking up multiple nails laid in intersections near his home) hopes neighbors will help apprehend the vandal.

“If his actions cause a bad accident and someone dies, he could be charged with second degree murder,” Steve Yusim said.

PMC Patrol Officer Patrice Stimpson said that the nails are being dropped in smaller quantities than before, but in more locations, including Yellowstone and Mil Potrero Highway, plus the “Y.” Nails are also in more sizes than reported previously. Stimpson says fog lights are very useful for revealing them.
