Ridge Route Run zooms into Frazier Park

May 25 makes 5th year

By Kevin Lundin, Frazier Mountain Car Club and Rachel Unell, Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce

Saturday, May 25 is show time in downtown Frazier Park. The 5th annual Ridge Route Run Car Show will line Mt. Pinos Way with over 100 gorgeous classic hot rods, antique, classic muscle cars and the newly added motorcycle class from all over Southern California. Come enjoy the show, local arts and crafts booths, fabulous food and music by YesterYear.

Memorial Day activities include a blood drive with Houchin Community Blood Bank. Last year 148 lives were helped. Sign up in advance to donate. Call Kevin Lundin at 661-245-0150 or email fmcc@frazmtn.com.

Car show entrants and guests bring canned food donations to fill up the bed of a vintage pickup truck for the Family Resource Center food pantry. Let’s stuff that truck!

Veterans Helping Veterans will help local veterans connect to services.

A Veterans Memorial Walk invites everyone to come out to walk down Mt. Pinos Way in honor of a veteran who has served. Meet us in front of Ace Hardware at 11:30 a.m. Bring a picture of your loved one and carry it with an American flag.
