Spring wildflowers were covered with snow last weekend along the Gorman hills. CHP ran escorts over the Grapevine Friday night. Below, Unpaved roads in Frazier Park stayed covered in snow most of the weekend but (right) snow plows did their jobs well in PIne Mountain.

County roads were plowed, but chains and four-wheel drive vehicles were wise when a second storm front blew in.

Still, it has been a record dry year.
