A note from the board of the Frazier Mountain High School Booster Club
The next generation of Frazier Mountain High School athletes and the Booster Club need your help.
We are asking that each family with an athlete at Frazier Mountain High School join the Booster Club.
You do not need to have an athlete at the school, or even to have a student at the high school to be a Booster. All you need to do is fill out and mail the attached form with $20 to the Booster Club; or better yet, bring the form with you to our next Booster Club meeting at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at Caveman Cavey’s Cave in Frazier Park.
Boosters help the sports programs and athletes in many ways. For example, each year the FMHS Booster Club hosts a banquet at the end of each sports season to celebrate the athletes’ accomplishments for that season. Boosters help pay for a tournament in each sport, and award scholarships to elected athletes. The Booster Club raised funds to help build the current snack bar and the guest bleachers on the football field.
In the 2012-2013 school year, each sport was offered a donation of $750 to help purchase equipment, jerseys and other necessary items.
There was a time when members of the Booster Club were plentiful; somehow membership is now overlooked. If each household with an athlete were to become a member, the Booster Club would be rejuvenated. Please help us continue to support our FMHS athletes. Join today.
Are you looking for other ways to help our future athletes? On May 28 the FMHS Booster Club will hold elections for open board positions. Five of the six board seats will be opening as children graduate from the schools. We are hoping the parents of the next generation of athletes will take charge.
Your volunteer work in support of our local athletes is priceless. Come experience the joy of helping support the hard work of our youth!
