TRAFFIC UPDATE: Grapevine Re-opened

UPDATE:  FRAZIER PARK, California (Monday, Feb. 16 at 3:25 p.m.)—The California Highway Patrol began escorting motorists over the Grapevine on Interstate 5, just after 3 p.m. following about 12 hours of closure from snow and ice conditions.

FRAZIER PARK (Monday, Feb. 16 at 8:05 a.m.)—The Grapevine is closed to Laval Road due to snow and ice condiitons. In the Frazier Mountain Communities, Kern County has two plows working at the Mil Potrero Y and Cuddy Valley areas, and is clearing the main roadways. Secondary streets are plowed after the main thoroughfares are secure.
