• The Written Word Series invites you to spend an evening with author Rebecca Langston-George Saturday, Sept. 30, 7 p.m. at Artworks Community Gallery (16233 Pine Valley Ln., PMV). Langston-George is a language arts teacher and the author of several books for children including For the Right to Learn: Malala Yousafzai’s Story and Orphan Trains: Taking the Rails to a New Life.
