News from the Western Antelope Valley

Meet the planners on zoning changes

Owners of Western Antelope Valley property are invited by the Oso Rural Town Council to come to the Fairmont Market on October 18, 19 and 20 (Thursday 10 a.m.–8 p.m., Friday noon–8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–8 p.m.) to look over proposed changes in zoning maps under the draft ‘Town & Country’ update to the Los Angeles County General Plan. Personnel from the L.A. County Department of Regional Planning will answer questions. They have already made adjustments in the Three Points zoning proposals, so Oso Town Council’s Gerard Conroy and Richard Skaggs said in their recent meeting that it is important to understand the impact of changes on your property now rather than later.

The next Oso Town Council meeting is October 25.
