There is a rumor around town that aliens from outer space beamed up the recycling station from Frazier Park Market in a column of white light. What was once a thriving facility is now an empty space. Vanished. Where has the recycling station gone?

The real story is nearly as exciting. It involves stealth and possible unpaid debts, people with vouchers wondering where they can get their money, the good guys with badges coming to the rescue and a local business man finally retrieving his investment in keeping the service available.

Last month Ray Akari, manager and co-owner of Frazier Park Market, observed that rePLANET, the parent organization of the recycling facility in the market’s parking lot (across Laguna Trail from the Name Your Price Thrift Store), was three months behind in paying their bill…
