Youths Arrested for Grand Theft at High School

FRAZIER PARK, CALIFORNIA; March 14 — Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Frazier Park Substation Deputies responded to Frazier Mountain High School on a reported grand theft of school video equipment.  The thefts occurred during the last week of February.  With the assistance of FMHS staff, two video projectors were recovered and suspects identified.  Further investigation led to the arrests of 4 male juveniles (15-17 years of age).  Three of the juveniles were from Lebec and the other from Frazier Park.  Two of the 17 year-old juveniles were arrested for violation of Penal Code Section 487(a), Grand theft; another 17 year-old juvenile was arrested for violation of PC 488, Petty theft and PC 32, Being an accessory to a crime and the 15 year-old juvenile was arrested for violation of PC 487(a), Grand theft and PC 32, Being an accessory to a crime.  The value of the recovered stolen property was in excess of $10,800.00.
