Chamber bubbling with ideas to jump-start small businesses

Harry Spyrka sported a big smile at the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce (MCCOC) meeting last week as he held up a sign that read ‘Shop Small.’

The Spyrka family and their Ace Hardware store are widely known as a community-minded team, ready to support schools and local charities when they can. Now Spyrka has joined the MCCOC Board of Directors and is enthusiastic about the ‘Shop Small’ campaign. The local chamber is asking shoppers to visit local small businesses the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
