The Girl Scouts from Troop 134 put on a sumptuous Thanksgiving meal in Cuddy Hall. The food was great and the fellowship was too. But the thing that made the event super special for me was the 11-year-old hostess, Emily, and her older sister Rachael, who served with grace and competence beyond their years.

I was not able to leave town to be with family as planned, because of an illness. But this was a delightful and memorable Thanksgiving.

Thanks to all who made it happen.
