An immense loss is being felt this week at the news that Deputy Gabriel Gonzales, who served at the the Frazier Park substation for nine years, has lost his battle with covid-19.

A community gathering will assemble at the substation this Saturday, Sept. 15, for members of the community to sign an “In Loving Memory” banner as a gift to Gonzales’ two sons. A candlelight vigil will follow, 7-9 p.m.

On Saturday at 5-7 p.m. people will be invited to sign a banner for Gonzales’ children. At 7-9 p.m. there will be a candlelight vigil, both at the substation in Frazier Park.
