INCIDENT COMPLETED: Jack-knifed big rig blocking northbound traffic south of Frazier Mountain Park Road – UPDATES

LEBEC, CA (Monday, July 19, 2021 at 12:45 p.m.)—All northbound lanes are open.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:15 a.m.)—CHP Officer Pennington told The Mountain Enterprise that the updated estimate for reopening of all lanes is 12 noon.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, July 19, 2021 at 9:55 a.m.)—The Number 2 lane is open and CHP has estimated approximately 11 a.m. for reopening of remaining lanes.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, July 19, 2021 at 9:10 a.m.)—Earlier, at about 4:50 a.m., CHP had reported that the driver of the big rig was outside his truck, hitting cars that were passing in the only open lane with a wrench.

LEBEC, CA (Monday, July 19, 2021 at 8:25 a.m.)—A big rig jack-knifed and overturned at about 4:30 this morning, blocking all lanes, according to CHP.
