LEBEC, CA (Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:15 a.m.)—A Safe Water Notice has been issued by Krista Mutual Water Company, certifying that its water is safe to drink after a notice was issued on June 28 alerting customers to E. coli bacteria found in water samples. See the Safe Water Notice at right.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 5:10 p.m.)—Krista Mutual Water Company in Lebec has notified its customers that they must boil their water before using it. E. coli bacteria were found in the water supply on June 26. The company is distributing the notice (see it at right) and will notify customers when the water is safe to use after further testing has been completed.
