Public Utilities Commission acts to implement Brown’s controversial Senate wildfire bill

Last week the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) took the first steps to implement Senate Bill 901. The controversial legislation, signed by Governor Brown in September, bolsters California’s forest management and protection efforts, but also makes it easier for utility companies to pass on their liability costs…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
