Tejon Ranch Company lashes out at environmental organizations

Tejon Ranch Company took aim on January 26 at six environmental groups that partnered in an agreement with TRC in 2008 to preserve 240,000 acres of the ranch.

Five of the groups (Audubon California, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Sierra Club, the Planning and Conservation League and the Endangered Habitats League) sued TRC on December 2 for an alleged breach of the 2008 Tejon Ranch Conservation and Land Use Agreement—also known as the Ranch-Wide Agreement or RWA—signed by all parties, including the Tejon Ranch Conservancy.
