• This is the last weekend to visit the ‘Where Peace Lies’ exhibit, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at Artworks Community Gallery (16233 Pine Valley Lane, Pine Mountain Village). This exhibit features David Gordon’s paintings of local landscapes and the natural scenery of the Sequoia National Forest and other nearby destinations of California and Oregon. • Parent-and-child outdoor fun at Wind Wolves EcoKidz is 10 a.m.–12 noon. Activities vary from bird watching and bird nest building to painting or going on a beautiful hike in nature, plus reading child-friendly books outdoors. Best for ages 4-12. • Save the date for Holiday Faire and Fantasy of Lights Parade, Saturday Dec. 11. The Holiday Faire is 12–6 p.m. with booths and food vendors, and the Fantasy of Lights Parade is 5:30 p.m. Come out and enjoy this yearly tradition in downtown Frazier Park.
