in Frazier Mountain Park,
Come to a traditional
Veterans Day ceremony….

Gil Valenzuela is the newest commander of VFW Post 9791.

He retired from the United States Army in 2014 as a 26-year veteran combat medic. At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 the VFW will host a traditional Veterans Day ceremony at the Cody Prosser Veterans Memorial in Frazier Mountain Park.

The Law Enforcement Leadership Academy of Frazier Mountain High School will assist with color guard duties. Kaylie Turner will sing the National Anthem. Walt Ryba will be singing American patriotic favorites. Fred Rose will give the opening prayer.

Valenzuela will give a speech, and the community will be welcome to speak in honor of veterans in their lives.
