Get ready for a very scary Haunted House this year at the Trunk or Treat, Sunday, Oct. 31, 4-7 p.m. in the Pine Mountain Village Gazebo. While the village merchants hold a scavenger hunt from store to store, the Mountain Shakespeare Festival will stage a guided walk-through maze in the covered gazebo, with spiders, gore, talking heads and of course witches offering candy.

Admission to the Haunted House is $2. Hot cider will also be available. Those not up for the heavy screams may take a less frightening tour with lights. This is a fundraising event for the Frazier Mountain High School Junior class, co-hosted by the Pine Mountain Club Commercial Property Owners Association. Call 242-1289 with any questions.
